What’s Included and What to Bring
Fare includes all tackle/gear (except as outlined below), bait, ice, and fish cleaning/filleting. We take pride in outfitting anglers with quality light tackle that is a pleasure to use.
For Fluke trips, Gulp and Bucktails/Teasers are not provided and must be supplied by the anglers. Hi/Low rigs and bait will be available. We will be happy to provide specific lure recommendations by phone or email in advance of your scheduled charter date. Gulp and Bucktails/Teasers are generally available for purchase ($8 per pack of Gulp and $12 per Bucktail/Teaser combination).
PLEASE NOTE, due to restrictions in my marina, fish filleting cannot be accommodated. The fare reflects this and there is a nearby fish market that offers fish filleting services.
Please bring your lunch and beverages. Beer in moderation is permissible. As we know, summer rain showers are always possible, so please bring rain gear as a precaution.
Weather and Cancellations
Captain will determine sail times based on weather, tides and the nature of the Charter.
Trips may be cancelled because of weather or other concerns (all deposits will be returned or applied to another trip if Captain cancels).
Other Boating Excursions
Tours of the beautiful and scenic Peconic Bay Including Shelter Island, Plum Island and surrounding lighthouses are available.
These tours are for up to 6 people, last 3 hours, and cost $500.
